The Palms Punta Cana is the perfect venue for your destination wedding if you’re looking for a private, intimate location. If you and your husband aren’t into the resort-style vacation, then this is the place for you! Not only is The Palms Punta Cana a wedding venue, but it is also a gorgeous villa!! That means you and your guests can stay here for your entire wedding week. How cool is that?

Everything You Need to Know About The Palms Punta Cana

The Palms Punta Cana is a private villa in Uvero Alto, which is about 40 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport. The beachfront villa sits atop one acre of land so it’s completely private for you and your guests. You won’t have to worry about anyone else for your whole vacation! Yeah, that’s right… You’ll have the entire place to yourselves!

The villa offers 14 beautiful suites; thirteen of which look out upon the turquoise ocean, and one of them looks out to the lush green gardens. All of the rooms are spacious and clean so there won’t be any fighting over who gets the best one; They’re all fantastic! The Palms Punta Cana villa sleeps up to 30 adults comfortably, and they’re particularly accommodating to families with kids.

Aside from the rooms, they have an amazing team of professionals ready to cater to your every need. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel like royalty. An executive chef will cook you some of the best food you’ve ever tasted. The on-site concierge can help book excursions for your group. And the smiling bartender will keep you hydrated throughout your stay (may I suggest a fresh pina colada?).

Oh, and did I mention the pool? Oh yes! This place has a 150-foot pool looking out over the ocean!! And there’s a swim-up bar so you can cool off while sipping on your favorite flavored mojito. Could life get any better? Welcome to the Caribbean! Private villa, private pool, just you, your family, and your closest friends soaking up the sun for your wedding week. It sounds like an amazing trip to me!

The Palms Punta Cana Weddings

Weddings at The Palms Punta Cana are simple, intimate, and beautiful. It’s perfect for small groups that just want to enjoy each other’s company.

Having a private venue is a big deal! Especially for your wedding ceremony. This means you won’t have any other hotel guests creeping along the borders of your ceremony (in their thong bikinis and speedos nonetheless). You’ll only be surrounded by the people you love most. And that’s everything!

Plus, since you’ll all be staying in one place, you won’t have to worry about transportation to and from the venue, and your guests can zonk out whenever they’re ready – Their rooms are just a few steps away.

Another key point is that there are no vendor fees! This will save you a lot of hassle and even more money when choosing your favorite vendors.

One of the Best Things About The Palms Punta Cana

Okay, I mentioned the privacy, the pool, the food, the amazing service. But there’s still one more thing I haven’t told you yet. My favorite part. THE. BEST. PART. The Palms Punta Cana allows dogs!! Yes, you read that right. You can bring your little furry friend on vacation with you! Whether you want him/her walking down the aisle, or you just want a few cuddles after a long beach day, bring your buddy and there won’t be any issues here. All are welcome 🙂

Megan & O’Brien’s Wedding

Megan and O’Brien were together for 10 years before deciding to get married. That’s quite an accomplishment already if you ask me. They have two beautiful children together, and the happy family lives in Wisconsin now. They had never been to Punta Cana before but knew that they wanted to have a destination wedding. When they started researching possible locations, the DR just seemed like the right fit.

They had a first look before the ceremony and then got married at 4 pm on February 23, 2019. They were surrounded by their two kids and 15 of their closest family and friends. It was an emotional day for them all, and even though Megan swore O’Brien would be the one crying all day, she shed a few tears of her own. It was hard not to with such a beautiful ceremony.

Check out the photos from their wedding below.
