Pearl Beach Club is one of the most luxurious beach venues in Punta Cana. It has the glamorous feel of a beach/pool club in Miami or Las Vegas, but it’s more private and relaxing. It’s the perfect place to spend a day lounging by the pool or to get dressed up and grab a nice dinner with friends. And I’d have to say that their weddings are absolutely stunning!
About Pearl Beach Club
Pearl Beach Club is located in Cabeza de Toro, only about 15 minutes away from the Punta Cana International Airport. It’s right next to the Catalonia, and nearby to other resorts like Dreams Palm Beach, Be Live, and Blau Natura Park.
The club boasts a private beach where you’ll be surrounded by tall, luscious palm trees and gorgeous views of the turquoise water. And although the beach is spectacular, the real allure is in the club itself.Â
First of all, Pearl Beach Club is stunning! It was built only a few years ago (in 2015), so the entire place still looks and feels brand new.
It’s a glamorous beach club – which may sound like an oxymoron, but trust me, it’s not. Not in this case, at least. Take a few steps inside and you’ll see exactly what I mean. Luxurious beach beds overlooking the pool, an immaculate open-air restaurant, and an enormous stage area that can fit up to 3,000 people.Â
There’s a huge menu, inspired by Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Asian flavors. Your tastebuds will be screaming for more! Plus, the cocktail list has unique drink options that you can’t find anywhere else on the island.
Another thing I have to mention is the bathrooms. I know it may seem strange to mention bathrooms as a key selling point, but when you live in a country with questionable plumbing and most public bathrooms don’t even have toilet seats, you start to realize how important a nice bathroom is. And Pearl Beach Club has nice bathrooms! Clean. Spacious. And with multiple stalls. Which makes all the difference where there’s a big crowd or large wedding party. So let’s talk more about weddings at Pearl Beach Club…
Vanessa & Edward’s Wedding at Pearl
Classy and elegant, yet still the perfect mix of a beachy Dominican celebration. Walk down the aisle through the sand, surrounded by palm trees, and looking out onto the ocean. And then choose between three reception locations; right on the beach where you had your ceremony, at their charming open-air restaurant, or at the spacious stage area underneath the stars. Vanessa & Edward held their wedding at the stage area and it was absolutely gorgeous.
They had been together for 8.5 years before finally tying the knot. Vanessa and Edward are both from New York but come from Dominican families which made their decision to get married in Punta Cana a simple one. They would be surrounded by all of their family and friends – It just felt right!Â
Vanessa & Edwards stayed at the Fishing Lodge in Cap Cana, so Vanessa and her bridesmaids got ready there the morning of the wedding and then headed to Pearl Beach Club for the ceremony and reception.
For destination wedding standards, they had a big wedding, with almost 80 guests. And the thing with large Dominican families is… they love to dance!! So everyone was on the dancefloor, grooving all night long. And when it came time for Crazy Hour, everyone jumped in with full force. What a momentous day it was!
