Love is in the air. If you’re engaged and planning your wedding in Punta Cana, then I’m sure you can feel it, too. The romance. The excitement. Your imagination is running wild, picturing your own beach wedding. And if you can’t feel it yet, don’t worry. We’ve got a beautiful wedding at Kukua Restaurant to get those romantic vibes flowing.
Yanell and Erickson’s classic wedding will have you swooning!
Let’s take a look at a little sneak peek from their day:
Aren’t they just stunning?! I’ll show you a few more photos in a minute, but I want to talk about Kukua Beach Club first for any brides who are still looking for a wedding venue. So let’s start there!
Kukua Beach Club
Kukua Beach Club is a fantastic restaurant and an even better wedding venue. It’s located on the Arena Gorda Beach in Punta Cana between the RIU and Bahia Principe resorts. You can choose to have your wedding ceremony right on the beach or in the Palapa. While the palapa is an excellent choice, you really can’t beat the beach on a beautiful, sunny day.
With soft, white sand, turquoise water, and a stunning wedding arch at the end of the aisle, you will feel like you’re in paradise as you say “I Do.”
But before you walk down the aisle, you’ll want to get glammed up and look your best. The bridal suite at Kukua is the perfect place for you and your girls to get ready. There’s plenty of space for your entire bridal party and for your hair and makeup artist. Plus, there’s great lighting for photos and tons of mirrors so you can be sure that you look stunning before seeing your fiance for the first time.
Did I mention their bridal suite has air conditioning? It’s true! There’s a fresh, romantic feel throughout the bridal suite, and the classic decor and all-white furniture help set the perfect vibe for a classic wedding.
When you’re ready to go, you’ll make your way through the restaurant to the beach for your ceremony. You’ll immediately be blown away by the gorgeous decor all around. Every detail of your wedding will be crafted by the amazing wedding planner, Mayte Marie – and her designs will take your breath away!
Classic Wedding Decor
This wedding style is for you if you’re hoping to have a chic, luxurious, and timeless wedding celebration. But what elements do you need to complete this look?
Imagine soft color palettes, smooth lighting, and simple textures. White and ivory will be the go-to colors to keep your venue light, charming, and beautiful. Fresh greenery and soft green accents will add a splash of color without overwhelming your look, while a classic metallic like silver or gold will look spectacular.
When it comes to your bouquet and floral arrangements, soft, white roses are a perfect choice. White hydrangeas or lilies also look great with this theme.
You’re going for a gentle elegance that’s chic and sophisticated so skip anything that is too bold, flashy, or trendy. This look is meant to stand the test of time.
Kukua Beach Club is your go-to venue in Punta Cana if you love this style. They always do an amazing job. Here’s a little more decor inspiration from their team:
Yanell & Erickson’s Wedding at Kukua Restaurant
These two looked absolutely stunning on their wedding day. Yanell was glowing in her strapless v-neck wedding gown, and Erickson rocked the all-white suit. The groomsmen also dressed in white, while the bridesmaids wore pastel green bridesmaid dresses. Yanell had an elegant bouquet, filled with a dozen white roses, while her girls had a smaller version of the same style.
The happy couple decided not to have a first look and instead, waited to see each other for the first time walking down the aisle. While their wedding ceremony got emotional (I’m pretty sure everyone was crying during their vows) it was obvious that Yanell and Erickson know how to have a good time. And all of their guests were ready to celebrate, too.
Needless to say:
Their wedding was a blast! There was lots of dancing during the reception, a few rounds of shots, and even a live Dominican band. By the end of the night, all of the guys jumped into the pool – so you know the party had to be good!
