This wedding was one to remember!
We always love working in different places because there are always new things to discover, and we love working with so many different couples because we feel all of them bring new energies and challenge us to see things in such different ways.
Not one wedding is like the other, and this is one of the best things about being a wedding photographer. You get to know the people you have in front of you and interpret their personalities by taking pictures of them.
Shelby and Kyle were just incredible. They wanted to truly enjoy their wedding day and the people that came to DR with them, so they left everything in the professional’s hands. And they were right to do so!
Shelby looked stunning! It was hard to take your eyes off of her and it was every photographer’s dream. Her dress was perfect for a destination wedding in the Caribbean, light, comfortable and flattering in every single angle. She chose to have simple makeup and hair to feel comfortable and relaxed, and oh what a great choice!
They chose the Garden Gazebo at Grand Palladium Punta Cana to hold their ceremony and Arrecife Restaurant to hold their reception, a nice comfy restaurant by the beach. It was intimate, it was fun, it was perfect!
Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort
Palladium Resorts in Punta Cana are a combination of 5 hotels. They are Eco-friendly, so you will find a number of animals and plants and trees in the grounds. This is a big plus for us, there are not many resorts like this in the area and we feel it is important to promote them. The place is also massive! So be prepared to walk a lot and probably get lost the first day or two, but this makes it even more interesting because you will have a lot of options to choose from when picking the locations of your wedding.
The Garden Gazebos and the beach locations, besides all the different locations for the receptions. Like I said, the place is huge so you will definitely find the one that suits you.
For us, there are a few things that are really important in any wedding so that we can get the best results possible.
The good organization so the schedule is followed and we don’t miss anything important. Spacious (and tidy!) rooms to get really amazing getting ready photos and don’t waste time cleaning up or editing afterward. Fun, easy going couple and group that are willing to do anything you ask them to get a kickass photo shoot or party photos.
We are incredibly happy to say in this beach wedding, we had them all! And more!
The wedding coordinator, Haydee, was sweet and helpful at all times. The rest of the staff at Palladium were so kind and so much fun that it was hard to leave the resort. They actually even got to join the party!
