It’s time for another gorgeous wedding at Kukua Restaurant and Beach Club. We’re featuring the lovely Brooke and Santiago who tied the knot right on the beach, with the light waves of the ocean crashing in the background. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Let me tell you a little bit about Kukua and their amazing bridal suite, and then I’ll show you some photos from Brooke and Santiago’s big day.

Kukua Restaurant and Beach Club in Punta Cana

If you’re looking for an off-resort wedding venue in Punta Cana, look no further. Kukua is seriously out of a dream! It’s located right on a beautiful white-sand beach, surrounded by palm trees, and of course, that gorgeous view.

They have a charming restaurant that serves some of the best food you’ll have during your entire vacation. I always recommend the surf and turf but honestly, everything is amazing – including the wedding cake and desserts.

That’s right! Kukua takes care of everything for you. Not just the food, drinks, and dessert, but also the decor, flowers, music, officiant, MC, and wedding planning. They’ll even recommend local vendors for hair and makeup, photography and videography (hi!), and entertainers (like for a crazy hour or fire show). You’ve got it all covered here!

The wedding planners, Mayte and Rachel, will guide you through every step of the wedding planning process and will make it seem like a breeze. There’s no need to stress with these ladies by your side.

If you’d like to learn more about the venue, check out our Kukua Wedding Guide here. Otherwise, we’re going to keep moving right along.

Getting Ready at Kukua Restaurant and Beach Club

Your wedding day is finally here! It’s time to grab some breakfast with the girls and then head to Kukua to start getting ready. Let the butterflies flutter!

Your hair and makeup artist will let you know what time you need to arrive at Kukua in the morning depending on the size of your bride tribe. Make sure you plan plenty of time for you and the girls to get all glammed up, to get dressed, and of course, to get some pre-ceremony photos.

You’ll want to be mostly ready by the time your photographer and videographer arrive (usually 2.5-3 hours before the ceremony). That means hair and makeup are pretty much done, but you won’t get dressed or put on accessories until later.

Now I know what you’re thinking:

Isn’t that too early? It shouldn’t take that long to get ready… But it’s your wedding day! It’ll take a lot longer than any other regular day. And you don’t want to feel stressed or rushed through the process. You’re meant to enjoy every single second of this day.

Trust me when I tell you, the morning of your wedding will go by so fast!

Check out these tips for How to Prepare for your Getting Ready, and then let’s talk about the bridal suite.

Bridal Suite at Kukua

This is the perfect place for you and your ladies to get ready on your wedding day. It’s a spacious, air-conditioned room with great lighting and plenty of mirrors so you can be sure you all look amazing as you prepare for the biggest day of your life!

The bridal suite at Kukua is the largest of any venue in Punta Cana so there’s a good deal of space if you have a big bridal party or if you want to bring your mom, grandma, flower girl, etc. into the room too.

Not only that but there’s also a fresh, romantic feel throughout the bridal suite. The classic decor and all-white furniture set the perfect vibe for a wedding.

Did I mention how amazing your getting-ready photos will look? Just check out some photos from Brooke’s getting ready:

Gorgeous, right? I know! You’ll feel like a queen as you step into your dress! And who doesn’t want to feel that way on their wedding day?

Where Does the Groom Get Ready?

Oh! The groom. I almost forgot… Actually, a lot of venues forget about the groom when it comes to getting ready. But we can’t skip this part. It’s a big day for him too!

While the guys can get ready a lot faster than the girls, we still want to take some extra time to make this moment special. And Kukua has a special place just for the guys.

That’s right:

The groom and his groomsmen can get ready in the Palapa. It’s a private space near the beach that is perfect for those getting ready photos. Not only that, but they have a mirror and fans to ensure the guys look great and stay cool as they get dressed for the main event.

Even on a cloudy day, the beach looks beautiful!

So what do you think? Are you falling in love with Kukua Restaurant and Beach Club yet? If not, you may just need to see some more photos from Brooke and Santiago’s wedding day.

Kukua Restaurant and Beach Club Wedding – Brooke & Santiago

If you love bright and tropical wedding decor, then you will absolutely love Brooke and Santiago’s wedding. Mayte did an amazing job with this one! (FYI – She always does.)

Lush green monstera leaves, bright-orange birds of paradise, and pops of turquoise accents bring this design to life. Not to mention the impressive sweetheart table with gorgeous peacock fan chairs, golden pineapples, and greenery from the ceiling to the floor. Simply spectacular!

Aside from their decor, they had a gorgeous wedding day overall. It was an intimate celebration with about 30 guests. Their ceremony was held right on the beach, overlooking the ocean. Take a look at their photos below to experience a little bit of their special day. You won’t want to miss the sparkler send-off.
