Kukua Beach Club weddings are some of my favorite weddings in Punta Cana!! They are always spectacular! From the decor to the food to the excellent service – everything they do at Kukua is top-notch. It’s the perfect venue for a destination wedding!

Reading through our blog, you’ll know that we LOVE Kukua Beach Club. Are we obsessed? Maybe… But with good reason! This place is the best!!
If you haven’t been there before, just do me a favor. Close your eyes for a moment and try to picture your dream beach-wedding venue. I bet you can think of it right away, right? So what do you see?
A beautiful beach. Turquoise blue water. Glistening white sand. Palm trees. Maybe a pool? And a palapa for shade.Â
Well… Kukua has everything you’re imagining in your head right now! Everything! But it’s not just a beautiful location. They offer so much more!!

Kukua Beach Club Wedding Planner
First of all, let me start by saying that the whole team at Kukua Beach Club is amazing!
…But Mayte leads the team. And she’s a star! Seriously. She blows me away with her decor every time. Her attention to detail is unprecedented. And she can transform any dream into reality! You can feel her passion for every single wedding, with every single bride. It’s incredible.
Plus, Mayte has the amazing Rachel on her team now, too. And Rachel is a ray of sunshine! She makes the whole process so easy! Seamless planning from start to finish.Â
I could go on and on about Mayte and Rachel, but I know you’re ready to actually see their creations. So let’s jump in to Marolhin and Jhonny’s Kukua Beach Club wedding.
Marolhin & Jhonny’s Wedding
Marolhin and Jhonny live in New York, but they’re both Dominican at heart. They come from Dominican families. Jhonny was born here, and Marolhin spent her summers here growing up. When the time came to start planning a wedding, they knew it had to be in the DR!
And what a great decision it was! Their wedding was absolutely beautiful. Marolhin was the most gorgeous bride! And her dress was spectacular. Standing with Jhonny in his cobalt blue suit, they looked like the perfect couple! And they absolutely were.
You could tell in the way they looked at each other. With such love in their eyes. And so much emotion! The whole day was very emotional (as a wedding day should be.) From the first look to walking down the aisle. During the ceremony and at the reception. They were either fighting back tears or wiping them away. But they were also always smiling! Laughing together all day long!
And let’s not forget: they’re from New York, and they’re Dominican. So they were ready to party! So ready, in fact, that they took shots at the altar!! How fun is that??
They had a fire show and a crazy hour, and all their guests were up and dancing. They danced the night away! And then they ended the night with a luminous sparkler send-off. Surrounded by all of their closest family and friends! Congratulations Marolhin & Jhonny!
