Picking the right venue for your destination wedding can be quite a hassle. You’ll want a private location, good service, even better food, and of course, a beautiful beach. Not to mention, you want it to be accessible for family, friends, and wedding vendors so you can all celebrate your big day together. The good news is, Punta Cana is a dream destination with tons of amazing wedding venues options. And Kukua Beach Club and Restaurant will be one of the best options out there!

Let’s talk about this beautiful venue and then I’ll show you a sneak peek at Danielle & Shaun’s wedding album. Ready?

Kukua Beach Club and Restaurant

Nothing beats having your dream wedding on the soft white sands of Punta Cana with the turquoise blue sea as your backdrop. Getting married at Kukua brings a whole new kind of enchantment to the day.

This place is filled with soul. With love. With positive energy. And with amazing people. It’s perfect for a destination wedding. Just take one look through their online reviews and you’ll see hundreds of couples call it a picture-perfect location. (No wonder it’s one of the most desired wedding venues in the Dominican Republic.)

Situated on Arena Gorda Beach, Kukua Beach Club and Restaurant is truly in the ideal spot. You’ll have a private beach restaurant surrounded by palm trees, white sand, and a gorgeous ocean view. What could be better than that?

You can choose to get married right on the beach (like Danielle & Shaun) or under the covered Palapa (like Tinesha & Everett). Both locations are breathtaking! The beach club offers religious, civil, and symbolic wedding ceremonies – so you can say I Do however feels right for you and your new hubby!

I should also mention:

Kukua Beach Club and Restaurant is known for its amazing cuisine. Expect fresh, local ingredients, and some of the best seafood in town! You may want to plan an extra dinner here during your trip. The food is that good.

Forget everything you’ve heard about how stressful planning a wedding should be. Trust me: It doesn’t have to be that way! Planning your wedding at Kukua is easy and stress-free. You’ll be paired with some of the best wedding planners in town who will be with you every step of the way.

Vendor Fees at Off-Resort Venues

Remember when I mentioned finding an accessible venue for your destination wedding? Someplace easy to get to for your family and friends, and just as importantly: for your wedding vendors. This is one of those things you probably haven’t thought of yet if you’re planning on getting married in Punta Cana. But it can make or break your wedding budget.

That’s right: I’m talking about vendor fees.

Did you know that all-inclusive resorts will charge you for every vendor you plan on using at your wedding that isn’t affiliated with the hotel? That means that you’ll have to pay a premium fee just to get your photographer, videographer, makeup artist, officiant, and/or DJ into the door. Some of the fees are reasonable (around $300-$500) but others skyrocket to $1000 or more. Some even charge per person instead of per vendor. So you can see how that adds up quickly!

The good news is:

If you get married at an outside wedding venue like Kukua Beach Club, you don’t have to worry about any vendor fees! You get to choose all of your favorite vendors to be there for you on your wedding day. This can save you tons of money, while also ensuring that you have the best, most professional vendors around. And isn’t that what you deserve on your wedding day?

Now let’s take a look at a real wedding in Punta Cana!

Wedding at Kukua Beach Club & Restaurant – Danielle & Shaun

These two had the most beautiful destination wedding right on the beach at Kukua Restaurant. Classic white flowers and fresh greenery decorated their wedding arch, and then followed into their wedding reception to create the most gorgeous scenery. Not to mention the LED love sign lighting up their dance floor. Is there a better place to dance the night away? I doubt it!

Danielle and Shaun had a romantic day filled with love and surrounded by family and friends. Making it even more special was the fact that they are expecting a baby! We were thrilled to hear the news (and of course, to take photos with Danielle’s little baby bump).

Let’s all send a big congratulations to the happy couple!
