Jellyfish Restaurant Punta Cana is more than just a beach restaurant. It’s a beautiful wedding venue and one of the best places to plan your dream wedding in the Dominican Republic. They’ll take care of every little detail to ensure your wedding day is just as magical as you’ve imagined it to be.

First, I’ll tell you about off-resort wedding venues in Punta Cana. Next, I talk about Jellyfish Restaurant in Punta Cana. Then, I’ll show you some photos from Rosa and Emmanuel’s gorgeous wedding there. Finally, I’ll share their wedding trailer with you. You’re in for a treat!

Let’s get started!

Off-Resort Wedding Venues in Punta Cana

Have you been dreaming of having a destination wedding but you don’t quite connect with resort wedding packages? Maybe you’re looking for a more personalized experience. Or more bang for your buck. Or maybe you don’t want the cookie-cutter wedding package that many resorts offer.

It’s completely normal for you to feel that way. You’re not alone. There are hundreds of brides who feel exactly the same way! Thankfully, you have options.

There are several off-resort wedding venues to choose from in Punta Cana. Jellyfish Restaurant is one of my favorites (obviously 😉 ). However, Kukua Beach Club, Pearl Beach Club, and Huracan Cafe are all amazing wedding venues as well.

Off-resorts venues offer more personalized service than most resorts. You’ll feel a stronger connection with your wedding planner and will have quicker communication compared to at the resorts. Just keep in mind, communication is never fast in the Dominican Republic.

Also, trust me when I tell you that the food is wayyyy better off the resort. The drinks are better too.

Oh, and the wedding decor will absolutely blow you away!

Now, I’m not saying that resort weddings are bad. Actually, they are usually very nice, and they work well for a certain type of bride. But if you’re looking for more, that little something extra, then I would definitely recommend an off-resort wedding venue.

Jellyfish Restaurant in Punta Cana is an amazing choice! Let me tell you why:

Jellyfish Restaurant Punta Cana

I know I’ve said it a few times before (like here and here and here), but I will never get tired of raving about this wedding venue! I love Jellyfish Restaurant!

Their team is fantastic. They will help you create the most amazing wedding day you can even imagine. And they’ll make it easy.

Forget about having to contact dozens of vendors and stressing about every little detail up until your wedding day. Jellyfish already has everything set for you. A gorgeous venue, catering, cake, wedding decor, flowers, a DJ or band, and an MC. They even offer extras if you want to wow your guests with a crazy hour, fire show, or cigar rolling.

The only vendors you’ll need to contact separately are the photographer and videographer (that’s us) and your wedding officiant (although they can help you with that too.)

The best part about Jellyfish Restaurant?

You can customize everything about your wedding day. You get to choose the music, the decor, the food, the drinks, the desserts, everything! And your options are endless.

On a tight budget? They’re happy to work with you. They’ll tell you what you can cut down or what will work better to fit your needs. Here are a few extra tips to help you plan your beach wedding on a budget.

Have a more generous budget? Then spring for the extra-large centerpieces, the Tiffany chairs, a gigantic cascading bouquet, and an LED dance floor. Finally, why not treat your guests to a seafood grill of lobster, shrimp, conch, and so much more!

You can have the wedding that everyone will be talking about for years to come!

Jellyfish Restaurant will make sure you’ll have an incredible wedding day, no matter what.

Rosa & Emmanuel’s Wedding at Jellyfish Restaurant Punta Cana

Wow oh wow! Rosa and Emmanuel are the sweetest couple! Rosa is drop-dead gorgeous, and she looked stunning on her wedding day. Her wedding vows were pure and honest as she vowed to take care of Emmanuel in sickness and in health. And then promised not to spend all of their money at Target. (Sound familiar?)

Emmanuel spoke his wedding vows from the heart. Well, more like off the top of his head since he didn’t write anything down beforehand. He just allowed the words to flow. He promised to love and care for Rosa and their kids. It was short, sweet, and simple. What could be better than that?

Considering Rosa and Emmanuel had been together for 12 whole years before getting married, I’d say they’re doing a pretty good job with their wedding vows so far!

Check out some of their wedding photos below.
