Jellyfish Restaurant is located on the beautiful shores of Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana between Melia Resorts and Lopesan Costa Bavaro. It’s nestled in a private, secluded location that offers a genuine sense of exclusivity throughout the wedding day. Thankfully, you won’t have to worry about hundreds of other resort guests here. The day is all about you!
Surrounded by sparkling turquoise water, swaying palm trees, and the softest white sand, this view is amazing! But it’s not just the backdrop that’s breathtaking… everything about this venue is amazing!
First, let’s start with their wedding planning team: Isaac, Gianna, and Janelkis are the dream team behind the scenes. They were responsible for ensuring that every aspect of Alicia and Joey’s wedding was impeccable. And they’re not just event coordinators… They are talented artists who paint the day with love, care, and creativity. From the initial planning stages to the final execution, they brought Alicia and Joey’s vision to life.

The kitchen is a gastronomic haven. They offer a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes. From fresh seafood to tender cuts of meat, to delicious pastas, salads, and desserts. The fusion of local flavors and international influences showcases the culinary artistry of the chefs.
Everything on the menu is amazing! Plus, the exceptional cuisine added an extra layer of sophistication and delight to Alicia and Joey’s wedding day.
Getting Ready in the Bridal Suite
Normally, brides get ready in the air-conditioned bridal suite, but Alicia did things a little differently since she had a larger wedding party. Instead, they got ready in one of the Jellyfish apartments right next door. This way, they had more space and didn’t feel overcrowded as they prepared.
The bride set the stage for her wedding day with her mom, mother-in-law, five bridesmaids, and her adorable flower girl. As they got ready, we were there to document every moment of anticipation, excitement, and celebration.
Both the bridal suite and the apartments have tons of mirrors and great lighting so you can ensure you look amazing – and we can get awesome photos. It was a lovely canvas for us to capture the intricate details of Alicia’s wedding dress, accessories, and of course, the joy that radiated from her and her bridesmaids.

Alicia and Joey’s vision for their wedding was a tropical paradise, and the decor did not disappoint. Crazy Hour & Fire Show
The next highlight of their wedding day was the crazy hour. Jellyfish transformed into a party that no one would ever forget! Colorful dancers and entertainers brought a burst of energy and excitement to the dance floor. With striking costumes, elaborate masks, and impressive dance moves, the atmosphere was instantly electrified. It wasn’t long before everyone joined in, dancing like there was no tomorrow.

They waived batons of fire in intricate patterns, painting the dark sky with fiery trails. They lit up the night with a fun and enchanting display. And it added another touch of magic to Alicia and Joey’s celebration.
