Hard Rock Punta Cana

It’s not easy to decide on a resort for your destination wedding in Punta Cana. There are so many great options to choose from! Do you want somewhere quiet and intimate? Or are you more drawn to the upbeat, party vibe?

If you like to party, then a Hard Rock wedding may just be what the doctor ordered.

Hard Rock Punta Cana is one of the biggest resorts in the Dominican Republic! It’s also the largest of all the hotels in the Hard Rock chain. They have a whopping 1,775 rooms! So yes, it’s massive.

This means that there are unlimited activities for you and your guests. Of course you can always relax on the beach, and you’re sure to have an amazing time. But if you like to stay active during your vacation, this is the place to be.

Grab a mojito and head to one of the 11 pools for some water aerobics, dance lessons, and pool games. (Just don’t forget the sunscreen!) When the sun goes down, get ready for some live music and a different show each night.

It wouldn’t be a true Hard Rock experience without some music of your own. You can order a Fender guitar to your room. Or a record player if that’s more your style! Furthermore, they have specially selected playlists to create the perfect soundtrack to your wedding week.

If you’re open to spending a little more money, play a round of golf at the Hard Rock Golf Club. Try your luck at the casino (it’s one of the nicest casinos in the Dominican Republic). Or head to ORO nightclub for an all-night dance party.

It all sounds pretty great, so far. But what about for your wedding?

Hard Rock Wedding Experience

I mentioned that Hard Rock Punta Cana is massive, but what does that mean for your wedding? Well, the options are endless when it comes to choosing the location for your wedding ceremony, cocktail, and reception.

Want to have a beach wedding? Perfect! They’ll make it happen. The beach at Hard Rock will be the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. Plus, the sheer immensity of the area makes it more private so you don’t have to worry about obnoxious strangers crashing your event.

Do you prefer to stay off the sand? No problem! They can do that do. I’m telling you! You can have your wedding exactly how you’ve been dreaming of it.

Honestly, whether you choose to hold your wedding indoors or outdoors, you’re sure to have a glamorous experience! Their team of wedding coordinators really knows what they’re doing. They host hundreds of weddings each year so they have the experience to back up all the hype.

They’ll help you finalize every little detail so you don’t have to worry about a thing. And your wedding photos will be gorgeous, too!

Hard Rock Wedding Photos

When it comes to your wedding day at Hard Rock Punta Cana, we’d love to get photo and video coverage starting from the getting ready all the way to the reception.

Typically for resort weddings, we need one hour with the groom and one hour with the bride. But remember how I mentioned that Hard Rock Punta Cana is a huge resort? So you can assume that it takes a while to get from room to room.

In this case, we like to take 90 minutes with the bride instead. That way we don’t have to rush, and we know we can get all the photos we want and need.

I know it may sound like a lot of time, but trust me when I tell you, it will go by so quickly!

Let’s dive into this a little bit more.

Do You Need Getting Ready Photos?

Yes. Yes! A million times yes! You need getting ready photos – and video coverage, too.

Your wedding photos are there to tell a story. They’re meant to capture the beginning, middle, and end of your wedding day. To tell the entire story so that when you look back years from now, you can remember every little moment from the day.

You can’t leave out one of the most crucial parts: the getting ready process. There’s so much to see!

Like what?

Well, this is when we’ll take photos of all the little details. Your shoes. Jewelry. Accessories. Hair and makeup. And the most important part – your wedding dress before you put it on!

Once you are dressed, we’ll get beautiful portraits of you, with hair and makeup freshly done, looking and feeling absolutely stunning!

Oh! And we’ll get photos with you and your bridesmaids, too! Whether you’re in matching robes or fuzzy slippers. Popping champagne or taking shots of Hennesy. It doesn’t matter! We’ll be there to capture those special moments with your girls.

Have little ones? Invite them to your room for the getting ready. They’ll look precious all dressed up!

Are Groom Getting Ready Photos Necessary?

Of course, they are! The getting ready process is not just about the bride! As the groom, you should look and feel nice too. It is your wedding day, after all.

You’ll be putting on attire and accessories that you probably don’t wear every day, so why not capture the special occasion?

Shoes. Belt. Suit and tie. Maybe a nice watch. Pull out all the stops. Then, invite the guys over to help you relax before the ceremony. Grab a beer and make a toast. (Just remember not to drink too much quite yet!)

We’ll get photos of it all – accessories, getting dressed, a few shots on your own, and then some with your groomsmen. It’s nothing to stress about! And you know it’ll make your wife happy!

You might even be surprised by how much you like the photos yourself. Rafael took getting ready photos, and they turned out amazing!

Tiffany & Rafael’s Hard Rock Wedding

This beautiful couple got married on November 28th, 2020. They had a lively Hard Rock wedding, with almost 60 guests in attendance! And they all were ready to party.

Drinks were flowing, shots were many, and they were all dancing have an amazing time. Not to mention, their crazy hour was one to remember! Check out the Top 5 Reasons to Have a Crazy Hour at Your Destination Wedding.

My favorite part about Tiffany and Rafael’s wedding? After they said I Do and walked back down the aisle, they had cold fireworks lighting the way. It was the perfect opportunity to toast a glass of champagne and steal another kiss before heading to their photo session.
