If you have no idea what resort to choose for your destination wedding in Punta Cana, don’t worry! You are not alone!
We have visited most resorts in Bavaro, Uvero Alto, and Punta Cana and can definitely help you figure out which one is the right one for you. In this case, we want to tell you a few things about Catalonia Royal Bavaro.
It is not one of the most known resorts in the area but we feel it deserves some of the attention, especially if you are planning your beach wedding.

What Wedding Packages does Catalonia Royal Bavaro has to offer?

Like many resorts in the area, Catalonia offers different packages for destination weddings, starting with the smallest one just for the bride and groom.
If you are planning for an elopement, this all-inclusive resort for adults only could be a great choice. It has pretty awesome reviews on TripAdvisor and you could celebrate your wedding and honeymoon together!

Besides this package, they offer another 3, including a number of things like spa treatments or romantic dinners for the bride and groom, flowers for the ceremony, champagne and cake. The price will vary depending on what you choose and with the number of guests your beach wedding will have. The biggest package offered includes 50 guests with the option to add more people at an extra cost.

If your wedding in Punta Cana is going to be big and with lots of guests, then maybe this might not be the right resort for you. You should look into bigger resorts that offer something to adjust to your needs. But if you have a small group of people, like Neivyde and Sam did, you might be really interested in what Catalonia Royal Bavaro has to offer! You can have a look at their wedding packages on their website and contact one of the wedding planners to help you answer any questions.

What are some important things to consider for a wedding at Catalonia Bavaro?

Like in many resorts of the area, if not all of them, you will find that the cost of the wedding can go a lot higher if you want to book your own vendors. All-inclusive resorts offer a lot of the services for the wedding, like makeup artists, wedding officiant and even photographers and videographers. If you are looking to personalize your Punta Cana wedding and bring in your external vendors resorts will charge you a fee to allow them to work inside.

This is an important thing to consider since the fees can add up and the cost of the services can go up a bit more than expected, but in our opinion, it is 100% of times worth it. The resort’s services are very good in general and you can read from their great reviews how they go above and beyond to make the bride and groom happy, but there might be some things they miss in the process that will add a lot of value to your wedding day. If you want to read more about this topic, we have a full post right here!

So before booking your wedding at any resort you should contact your wedding planner and ask her the procedure and the fees involved to get your external vendors. Luckily, Catalonia doesnt have such high fees so this should make your wedding planning a lot easier!

We have worked there a few ties and every time we fall in love again with the resort’s gardens, beautiful landscapes and perfect rooms. When it comes to photographing a wedding, Catalonia is incredibly beautiful and insipiring!
Just have a look at Neivyde and Sam’s wedding and you will see what we are talking about!
