Caribe Deluxe Princess is a beautiful all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana. It’s located on the world-famous Bavaro Beach so you’ll be able to soak up the sunshine and enjoy that soft white sand throughout your vacation.
Here I’ll share my review of the Caribe Deluxe Princess and their wedding packages, and then I’ll show you a real wedding there so you can get an idea of our photography style. If you’re looking for a photographer in Punta Cana to capture your wedding day, you’ve come to the right place! Or if you’re looking for a family-friendly resort in Punta Cana, this info will probably come in handy, too. Either way, I’m happy to have you here!
Stay tuned for some wedding photos from Bella and Robelin’s special day. Starting now:
Caribe Deluxe Princess Hotel Review
This was our first time shooting a wedding at Caribe Deluxe Princess since the pandemic, and we were pleasantly surprised with the resort amenities.
The landscape of the hotel is gorgeous, and there are ecological areas with adorable flamingos, ducks, peacocks, and turtles. Most rooms have a gorgeous view of the gardens, and I’d definitely recommend the honeymoon suite for a little extra luxury!
The water at the beach is beautiful and the sand is soft as snow. Although the waves can get a little rough at times, and there can be days with more seaweed than others. (A common problem throughout the Caribbean, unfortunately.)
The buffet food at Caribe Deluxe Princess is pretty standard for an all-inclusive resort. There’s a good variety of options, but it won’t be the best food you’ve ever had. I would recommend La Tagliata Italian restaurant or the Tao Asian restaurant. But make reservations as soon as possible as they’re not easy to get!
Also, be sure to check out the BeacHouse Rooftop Bar for a cold drink with a stunning view. Or if you’re looking for an all-night party, head to the Kanalla Sports Bar which is open 24 hours.
The resort is family-friendly, and there is a kids club, a kids’ pool with games and mini slides, and a teens club for ages 13-17. Or check out the bowling alley and tap into your competitive side (for an additional fee).
Personally, I enjoyed my stay here, but I would say that it’s closer to a 4-star experience than a 5-star resort. One of the downsides for me was that room service isn’t included… but it does give you extra incentive to get out of the room and enjoy more of what the hotel has to offer. If you’re a laidback couple, and it’s your first time staying at an all-inclusive resort, then I’d say this is a great option. But if you prefer a more chic, upscale experience, this might not be the right resort for you.
Weddings at Caribe Deluxe Princess
Choosing a resort for your destination wedding isn’t always easy. There are so many hotels in Punta Cana, and it can be hard to decide which one will be right for you and your fiancé. Not to mention for all of your family and friends, too. So let’s take a deep dive into what your wedding could look like at Caribe Deluxe Princess.
This resort offers two locations to host your wedding ceremony: on the beach or in the chapel. Beach weddings are the most popular, but if you’re having a religious ceremony, the chapel is a great option. Both locations are beautiful, and you’ll have the option to make them unique with your wedding decor.

You can host your reception in one of the resort’s restaurants or in the ballroom. The nice thing about this is that you won’t need to worry about the rain since each location is fully covered. However, you will need to spend a little more on wedding decor to make it feel more like a wedding – and not like another regular night of your trip.
To be honest, I was blown away by the decor from Bella and Robelin’s wedding day. Sometimes resort wedding decor can be a little plain… But this was not the case! They really did a great job, and their wedding ceremony and reception decor were stunning. (But I’ll tell you more about that below.)
A Note on Resort Wedding Planners
They are notoriously slow to respond to emails and phone calls. It is completely normal here for your wedding coordinator to take weeks ~or months~ to reply to your inquiries. And most of the wedding details don’t get confirmed until you’re actually on-site with your wedding planner a few days before your wedding.
Yes, it’s true!
So be prepared for this whenever you’re deciding to have your wedding at a resort. It’s a lot easier if you know what to expect. So yes, your patience will be tested. But in the end, you’re going to have an amazing wedding day! And that’s really all that matters.
Bella & Robelin’s Wedding
These two are just the sweetest! Bella is from New Jersey, and Robelin is Dominican, and it was such a blast to get their two families together to celebrate their love. They had their ceremony at 4pm, right on the beach in front of the BeacHouse Rooftop Bar. It was a cloudy day, but thankfully the rain held out for them, and the skies cleared just in time.
Their reception was held in the ballroom, and as I mentioned before, the resort did an awesome job with the decor. Towering centerpieces of white roses and eucalyptus filled the guest tables.
Their glass sweetheart table was set atop a bed of white rose petals, with matching floral arrangements and a Just Married sign. Not to mention the changing color dance floor, with an LED love sign as the backdrop.
Check out some of their photos below for a little inspiration:
