Jim & Camila: A Celebration Filled with Love (and Baby Giggles)
Jim and Camilla brought their loved ones together from near and far, about 25 guests in total, for a day that was equal parts relaxed, romantic, and full of joy. From the start, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of family.
One of our favorite moments? Their one-year-old daughter, the tiniest flower girl, made her grand entrance cradled in her older cousin’s arms. She was happily sipping from a bottle, tucked into a soft pink tulle dress, while her cousin still managed to toss petals down the aisle like a pro. It was adorable, and exactly the kind of heartfelt, real moment that makes destination weddings so memorable.
The ceremony space was decorated with coral pink and creamy white flowers, perfectly complementing the blue hues of the sea behind them. Simple wooden chairs and tropical greenery lined the aisle, while a square wooden arch overflowing with florals framed the couple beautifully. It was elegant and relaxed, just like the couple themselves.
Inside the Reception at Chez Bisutti
After the 5pm ceremony, we took time for group portraits, family photos, and a few dreamy newlywed shots by the water (those golden hour tones in Punta Cana never disappoint). Then it was time to head inside of Chez Bisutti, a chic and cozy space on the resort grounds that offers total privacy for events.
The decor carried over the soft coral and white palette, with round tables topped with fresh greenery, soft lighting, and simple elegance. Rattan pendant lights and a stone accent wall created a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of laughs. Camila and Jim’s first dance was sweet and fun, followed by some lively dancing and a classic bouquet and garter toss. It was the perfect mix of sentimental and sassy, and such a joy to capture on camera.
