Kukua Restaurant and Beach Club
Are you tired of reading about Kukua yet? Maybe you already saw this wedding. Or this one. What about this one? I’m telling you… I just can’t get over this place. Kukua is one of my all-time favorite wedding venues in Punta Cana. I’m always so thrilled when we get to shoot weddings here.
First of all, the venue is gorgeous! From the stunning bridal suite where the bride and her bridesmaids get ready in the morning to the outdoor reception space where they’ll all dance the night away. The restaurant is breathtaking once it’s all glammed up with wedding decor. And the ceremonies look incredible whether they’re right on the beach or under the palapa. When it comes to wedding photography, this place is a dream.
Does it get any better than that?
Well, yes of course, it does! Because not only is Kukua beautiful, but they also have an incredibly talented wedding planning and decorating team. They’ll work with you to confirm every little detail leading up to your wedding day. And when your big day rolls around, you’ll be blown away by the result.

Boho Wedding Decor
Before I show you more of Laurel and Taylor’s wedding details, let’s talk a little bit about what makes a bohemian-inspired wedding come to life. I’m sure you’ve heard of this style before! Maybe you’ve even daydreamed about it. It’s such a versatile design that looks great in any location. So of course, the beach is no exception.
The bohemian style is inspired by nature and the outdoors. To create this look, you’ll want to incorporate earthy tones and natural elements into your wedding decor.
Where are all my free-spirited brides at?
You’re going to love this look!
Pampas grass will be your staple element! Then you can experiment with tassels, macrame, rattan, green leaves, wildflowers, dream catchers, and/or dried palm leaves. From your centerpieces to the wedding arch, your sweetheart table, and the guestbook table. Everything will be in an earthy color palette with soft, romantic hues.
We’re going for a light and airy vibe.
Whimsical.
Dreamy.
Now let me remind you:

Laurel & Taylor’s Boho Wedding at Kukua Beach Club
Now the big moment has finally arrived! I’m so excited to share these photos from Laurel and Taylor’s wedding! These two are beautiful – inside and out – and they were such a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. They looked absolutely stunning on their wedding day, and you could see the love radiating between them!
They had a beautiful ceremony right on the beach, surrounded by about 30 of their closest friends and family. What an amazing way to celebrate their special union!
When it comes to their wedding decor, well, the team at Kukua knocked it out of the park again. They combined some boho-inspired elements like pampas grass, rattan charger plates, and those lovely earthy tones with some fun and romantic elements like pink and white roses, gold silverware, and shimmering disco balls. It was the perfect combination to create this beachy boho wedding. Just take a look at their wedding gallery down below.
