Taking senior pictures has been a North American tradition for a great number of years, and unlike other events, it happens only once in a lifetime. This awesome moment when you are graduating from high school to start a career, maybe leave home and to start finding out who you truly are will be captured and kept in time by a professional photographer.
As many other photographers, we find the beauty and meaning in every situation that a person is going through in life. An engagement, a wedding, a newborn session and of course when doing family portraits. But senior pictures have a special place in our hearts because it is one of the things that we have actually been through. Being a teenager and starting to figure out who you really are.
Kandice and her family came to Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana for their family vacation and they decided to have their family portraits taken. That’s when Kandice realized DR was the perfect backdrop for her daughter’s senior pictures to be taken as well. And we are so happy she did!
We picked them up from their awesome new resort Nickelodeon, which is located in Uvero Alto, (an area that has been growing popularity extremely fast in the past few years) and drove them to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area called Macao beach. The sunset and the overall light in the afternoon were so perfect!
And because we are not only about taking photos, but creating meaningful moments we felt they will always remember this family vacation by looking at their photos.
