Are you looking to set up a photoshoot for your upcoming vacation in Punta Cana? We’d love to help you capture some special memories from your trip. Below I’ll tell you a little bit about the process, and then I’ll show you a couple’s photoshoot at Juanillo Beach.
If you’re hoping to spend some quality time with your partner, have some fun, and get some great photos of the two of you, then you won’t want to miss this.
Juanillo Beach
Juanillo is a gorgeous beach located in the private gated community of Cap Cana. It’s about 5-10 minutes from most of the resorts in Cap Cana and only about 20 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
If you’re staying at any of the resorts below, Juanillo Beach is going to be a great location for your couple’s or family photoshoot:
- Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana
- Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana
- Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana
- Sanctuary Cap Cana
- TRS Cap Cana Waterfront & Marina Hotel
- Sensatori Cap Cana
- Eden Roc Cap Cana
- Sports Illustrated Resorts, Marina, & Villas Cap Cana
Note: If you’re not staying at one of these resorts, and your hotel or Airbnb is outside of Cap Cana, Juanillo Beach isn’t a great option. It can be quite a drive from other areas of Punta Cana, and they’ll charge high fees to take photos here if you’re not a guest. But don’t worry. There are plenty of other beautiful beaches in Punta Cana (like Macao Beach, for example) that will look amazing for your photoshoot.
Planning a Couple’s Photoshoot
There’s no need to stress about all the little details. Planning a couple’s photoshoot is easier than ever… Mostly because we do all the hard work for you. All you need to do is contact us with your travel dates and hotel info. We’ll let you know if Juanillo Beach is an option or if there’s another beach that might work better for you.
We’ll send you a personalized quote and all the details, like what’s included, how many photos to expect, and how long it’ll take to receive your edited photos after the session. (Hint: it doesn’t take long at all.)
From there, you’ll secure the booking and we’ll confirm your photographer and send you the details. How simple is that?
Once you arrive at the hotel, you’ll just need to notify your concierge that someone from our team is coming to pick you up. They’ll get an access pass for the photographer to enter Cap Cana on the day of your couple’s photoshoot.
And that’s it!
Our photographer will pick you up and guide you throughout the entire photoshoot so you look great, have fun, and get wonderful photos to remember your vacation by.
What are you waiting for?
Oh, I know. Maybe you’re worried about the timing of the session and fitting it in with your schedule of other activities and excursions. So…
When is the Best Time for a Photoshoot in Punta Cana?
I’m glad you asked! We actually wrote a whole post on this topic just for you.
But here’s the quick version:
If you like bright and vibrant photos, then you’re going to want to book a morning photoshoot. If you prefer, softer, more romantic lighting, then the late afternoon is going to be better for you.
Of course, this is a general recommendation and the lighting will also change depending on the time of year and the weather on the day of your photoshoot. So check out this post for more detailed info.
Couple’s Photoshoot at Juanillo Beach – Dan & Sara
This lovely couple booked their photoshoot in the late afternoon, with a pickup time of 5pm from Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. Juanillo is only about 5 minutes driving from this resort so it was a really quick trip. We were able to start taking photos right away.
Most of the beach visitors and tourists were already gone for the day, so we had the place pretty much to ourselves, except for a few people eating in the beach restaurant. (They have a great menu of food and drinks so if you’re looking for someplace nice to eat off the resort, this is a great option!)
Now back to the photoshoot:
The lighting was soft, beautiful, and so romantic! And it only got better as the sun started to set. Soft blue, pink, and purple shades created some stunning backgrounds for Dan and Sara’s photos. Just check out these colors!
So what do you think? Are you ready to plan your own couple’s photoshoot at Juanillo Beach? Maybe you want to plan a family photoshoot instead. We can help with that too! Get in contact with us here.
We’d love to help you create memories that last a lifetime!
