Here’s another highlight: When you’re having your wedding at Royalton Punta Cana, you can head over to Royalton Splash any time you’d like. It’s on the same property, just a trolley ride away, and they have a ton of other restaurants, pools, and bars for you to try. (I think the food and drinks are better on the Punta Cana side, but try it all for yourself to be sure.)
Now, the best thing about Royalton Splash is the water park! Check out the wave pool, seven monster slides, tubes, and a splash pad. The park is one of the biggest in the Caribbean, and it’s a blast!
Bringing the kiddos along? No worries! Of course, they’re welcome at the water park. And, the resort’s got your back with a kids club and a teens club, all supervised so you can kick back and enjoy the vacay. Let the little ones unleash their playful side and make some new buddies while you relax at the swim-up bar.
Upgrade to the Diamond Club
I really can’t recommend this upgrade enough! While I didn’t notice much of a difference in the room quality, there are so many other benefits to booking a Diamond Club room. First, start your vacation off on the right foot with a private check-in in the air-conditioned lounge. Grab a cocktail and some snacks right inside as you wait for your room to be ready. I know after a long travel day, you’re going to want it!
Next, you’ll be paired with a personal butler to help make sure you have a seamless vacation from start to finish. They’ll make sure you get reservations at all the restaurants you want, and they’ll be the ones to add all the personal touches to your stay.
You’ll also get access to a private beach area with waiter service, an exclusive Diamond Club breakfast spot, and upgrades on things like liquor options, room service, and spa treatments.
Insider tip:
In the Diamond Club lounge, you can always get bottled water. This may not seem too exciting, but none of the bars or restaurants serve water in bottles that you can take away so this is a huge perk. You will get water bottles in your mini-fridge, but those run out quick so head to the lounge any time you need more. And if you want to look fresh for your wedding day, drinking plenty of water is the first step!
Plan Your Wedding at Royalton Punta Cana
Say I do under the palm trees at this stunning oceanside resort. They offer three different ceremony locations so you can choose the one that’s right for you.
First, you’ve got the beach gazebo (this is where Georgia and Michael held theirs!) It’s right in front of the water so you’ll have a stunning background in all of your photos. Or, if you want a more private spot, the Eco Gazebo will be a great choice. It’s hidden away in the gardens between the Royalton Punta Cana and Royalton Splash properties so you don’t have to worry about anyone else except your groom and your guests.
Finally, the Plaza is a happy medium between the two. There are two beautiful terraces in between the lobby and main pool so you’ll be center stage, and it’s surrounded by water fountains and greenery. You really can’t go wrong with any of these spots! They’re all beautiful for photos!
You can have your cocktail and wedding reception at any of these locations, too. The resort will pair you with an on-site wedding coordinator, and they’ll help you find the best wedding package for you. (Just be prepared that wedding planners in Punta Cana are known for their super snail-slow communication.)

Georgia & Michael’s Wedding at Royalton Punta Cana
This beautiful couple came all the way from England to celebrate their love! And so did 30 of their closest family and friends, including their two adorable daughters! That’s a lot of travel… but it was totally worth it!
They said their vows at the beach gazebo overlooking the sparkling turquoise water. Then they held their reception in the plaza. They had a Mr. and Mrs. LED sign shining bright alongside the cold sparklers exploding during their first dance. It was so romantic!
