Why did you become a Makeup Artist?

I believe being present at a Wedding. I feel it really show cases true love and raw emotion when watching the bride get ready, when the couple first see each other to the vow exchange. Experiencing that love first hand is touching and beautiful and it is the number one reason why I love my job, I love transforming people with makeup but I love even more seeing true love in action

Where do you work? Only in the Dominican Republic?

Most of the year I live in Toronto but come to DR during the winters and love working with destination brides. So far it is January, February and March but I might extend it later.

Do you work by yourself or you have any assistants to help you?

Right now I work on my own.

Do you do hair and makeup? Do you use an airbrush?

I specialize in makeup. I feel that is my strong suit. I do hair occasionally but feel I really excel in makeup and prefer to offer only the best of my skills. Yes, I use a long lasting airbrush formula.

Makeup Artists in the Dominican Republic

Do you use any brand in particular?

I Use 98% all high-end brands, all different kinds depending on the product. Some brands I use are: Mac, Makeup Forever, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Mercer, Temptu, Urban Decay, Lily Ghalichi, Velour, Ardell.

Do you know how to work with different skin types and hair types?

Yes I am VERY experienced and have taken many courses to improve my skills and lengthen my knowledge.

Do you offer a makeup trial? Should brides bring their veils and accessories to it?

I do offer a trial makeup to brides at my home. Since I do mostly makeup I don’t require many accessories but if I were to do hair then yes, brides should bring the necessary accessories.

How far in advance should people book you?

I am in the Dominican Republic in January, February, and March, so the earlier the better but since I’m fairly new to the DR I have lots of availability!
