Majestic Mirage Punta Cana

This is a beautiful 5-star property located about 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. It’s an all-inclusive resort with 8 restaurants, 11 bars, and 24-hour room service. But it’s not all about food and drinks. There is so much to do at this resort!

Aside from the 12 swimming pools and 5 jacuzzis, there are basketball, pickleball, and tennis courts, as well as a sports bar, nightclub, and casino. You’ll also get unlimited access to the Punta Blanca golf course, less than 10 minutes away, and all the greens fees are included!

Doesn’t this all sound awesome for your wedding week?

If you’re planning an adults-only vacation, the Mirage Club is 18+. There are private pools, bars, and restaurants exclusive to the adults in your group. Or if you’re inviting the little ones to your celebration, book at the Family Club instead. There’s a kids club and a teen’s club with tons of games and activities to keep them entertained throughout the entire vacation. Your family is sure to have a blast at Majestic Mirage!

Weddings at Majestic Mirage

Now let’s get into the wedding details. This is the fun part! And also the most stressful. Planning a wedding in a location hundreds or thousands of miles away isn’t easy. (Be sure to check out our Wedding Planning Guide for tips.) But Majestic Mirage is a beautiful resort to get married at, and you’ve already made a huge step in the right direction if this is the resort you choose.

They have beautiful ceremony locations right on the beach, at one of the gorgeous gazebos, or even in the on-site chapel if you want to have a Catholic ceremony. Host your reception at a private terrace for some spectacular views. Or choose the Mirage Ballroom if you’re planning to pull out all the stops with an elegant wedding theme.

Majestic Mirage has a list of pre-set wedding packages to choose from, and then you can customize it for your special day. You can add the details that are most important to you and remove anything that doesn’t fit quite like you want it to. You’ll likely need to adjust things a few times to make sure you’re staying within your wedding budget. But thankfully, you’ll work with an on-site wedding planner who will help make your dreams come true.

Just keep in mind:

Resort wedding planners are notoriously slow at communicating! It’s really not their strong suit. This is the number one complaint we receive from brides when we ask for feedback about their destination wedding experience. It is common for wedding planners to take weeks -or months- to reply to your inquiries. You’re going to feel ignored. Or completely ghosted. So just be prepared! It is normal. And they always do a good job when the wedding day comes around… But this can make planning difficult when you want to sort out all of the details before you actually arrive in Punta Cana. So just be prepared for this!

If this sounds like a nightmare, then I recommend staying at Majestic Mirage for your wedding week but hosting your wedding at a private venue instead. You’ll get a more personalized experience with better communication to plan your special day.

Now Kaylin and Andrew chose Majestic Mirage, and it was the best decision they could have made!

Let’s get into it!

Kaylin & Andrew’s Morning Wedding at Majestic Mirage

It’s not often that we shoot morning weddings, but when we do, it’s always a blast! Okay sure, it’s hot. Sweaty. Really bright! But oh my goodness. Look at those colors! The ocean is glowing. The bright blue shades make every photo pop! Plus, it’s such a unique way to get married. I mean, how many morning weddings have you been to? It can’t be that many.

Kaylin and Andrew hosted their wedding ceremony at 11 am underneath the beach gazebo. This means we started their getting ready photos -and champagne toasts- at 8:30 am! Then, instead of having a traditional reception afterward, they had brunch! It was a full spread, with wedding cake included, and of course, surrounded by their closest loved ones.

Against the backdrop of swaying palm trees and that soft Caribbean breeze, their love radiated and their laughter was truly contagious.

But the best part?

They had the whole rest of the day to celebrate!
