Have a look at what are our previous Brides are saying about Punta Cana Photographer!
From the day I booked with them it was such smooth sailing. They are very professional, timely, and also helpful with the area. Planning a wedding from the States brought lots of uncertainty, however; if it wasn’t for my photographer I would have been such a mess. They were able to keep in touch whether via email, telephone, or Skype… They brought me piece of mind!! I can truly say my wedding pictures were the highlight of my big day… I received an overwhelming amount of compliments.
Thank you so much Punta Cana Photographer your work is truly a form of art.Brittany Brea
As someone who hates getting their photo taken, this company made it a complete breeze and we felt comfortable and had fun through the whole process. They captured every happy tear, every smile, every laugh, every look of love and every silly moment. The lighting was perfect, all pictures were thoughtfully framed up, the colors really pop, and we were allowed to be ourselves in front of the camera.
If you are looking for extremely talented photographers in Punta Cana, this is your best choice!!! You will not regret it. I’ve never felt more confident about a wedding planning choice then when I saw our first few photos.Jamie Susino

There are many resorts in the Punta Cana area, and every year new ones are built. The high demand for tourists and destination weddings has made the Dominican Republic one of the favorite countries in the Caribbean to either come on vacation or to celebrate the wedding of your dreams.
For Harold and Kristen, this dream became a reality in the brand new Excellence El Carmen.
Because it is a brand new hotel, not many people have heard of it making it a hidden treasure amongst the many all inclusive resorts.
There are so many great things about new resorts that we love. The clean, modern spaces make great wedding photos, the decoration of the rooms and the wide spaces, and of course the wonderful beach. The staff was absolutely amazing, cooperative and simply easy to work with, planning everything to the last detail.
Excellence El Carmen Wedding Locations
From the different locations you can choose from for the ceremony, they chose to have theirs at the Beach Gazebo. Having your feet in the sand is one of the reasons why so many people choose to have a beach wedding, it makes the whole experience for you and your guests much more enjoyable, doesn’t it?
If you want to rock your awesome new heels instead of going barefoot then you can also have your ceremony at the garden, in the other also beautiful option: The Stone Gazebo, with green and lush surroundings.
But they sure kept the best part to the end of the day by having their wedding reception at the X Lounge Terrace with stunning views to the beach side and the perfect breeze for a warm summer Caribbean night.
You can also choose to have your reception at the Beach or at the amazing Las Olas Restaurants.
Whatever you decide for the big day we can assure you, you can’t go wrong in Excellence El Carmen.
First Look: is it worth it?
Kristen and Harold chose to have a first look before the ceremony and this made their day (and their wedding photos) much more enjoyable and easy going. We love doing first looks with our couples and not only because we love to see the look on the grooms face, also because the couple can relax, spend some time together before the ceremony and because after it, they don’t have to worry about having enough time to do photos together or with their bridal party.
Things happen really fast on your wedding day and taking this extra time to enjoy with your friends and loved ones makes a big difference at the end of the day. Also, you will be fully relaxed to start the ceremony since you already had a few laughs with them. But don’t worry! We will steal you from the rest of the group to snap a few other shots of the two of you during the sunset.
But hey, they say an image is worth a thousand words and here we have more than a few! Have a look!

Royalton Punta Cana is a great all-inclusive resort located in the Bavaro area. It is right next to Memories Splash Punta Cana and the Majestic Resorts. Only 20 minutes away from the airport and not too far from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Even though it is not the most known resort, Royalton has become one of our favorite resorts to go for weddings. And there isn’t just one reason, there are a few…let me tell you what they are:
- The resort is brand new
Now, this might seem not important, but having done weddings in most of the resorts around the area, we think this is a big plus.
Doing getting ready’s at the rooms is a pleasure because the furniture is new and modern, the textures are perfect for photos of details, the colors are light, and the feel of the decoration in general is nice, clean and very photogenic.
- The beach has a perfect sunset
We love sunsets, who doesn’t love sunsets? Just like some of the resorts in the area like the Majestic Resorts, Royalton has that perfect beach sunset. The colors are beautiful, the beach is beautiful and with this combination, we can do some really awesome photos with our couples.
- The Backup Ceremony is actually really good
It was pouring down, cats and dogs, you name it. The day of Ryan’s and Adrienne’s wedding was a rainy one for sure. We waited until last minute to see if the rain would stop, and unfortunately, it didn’t. But the backup set up for the ceremony was actually very good. It was very intimate, with lots of natural light (which is very very important) and located on a second floor, quite close to the main lobby.
- Best SPA ever…seriously
This is very important for us and we know it is probably important for you too. Not only the hair and makeup are done by professionals the place is gorgeous! Now, this might not be so important for you, but it’s definitely for us! The lighting is incredibly flattering for bridal portraits (which we love), the furniture, walls, lamps and overall decoration is spectacular and we didn’t want to leave this room, ever. It was that good.
- The Food
Ok, so this one is not related to weddings directly, buuut if you think about it, you will have to eat the week you come to Punta Cana. And your guests will have to eat too right? And you wouldn’t want your guests or yourself to be unhappy right? Then it is definitely related to weddings! The food is seriously the best food we have tried in all of the resorts in the Dominican Republic. Not only because of it’s taste, but it’s presentation too. The buffet felt like a great restaurant, with lots of options and unexpected dishes like buffalo mozzarella with tomato, fresh basil, and olive oil or 5 different kinds of pie or (and this was the best one) the chocolate fountain with marshmallows. Ok, so that was for the kids, but all the other adults were getting some of those marshmallows too!
- The Beach Gazebo
After the rain stopped at Adrienne and Ryan’s Wedding, we went to the beach to get some nice photos of them and the bridal party.
We weren’t able to use the Gazebo for their ceremony but we did use it for the photo shoot and it is so beautiful! We have seen it decorated for other beach weddings and it is just stunning surrounded by palm trees and with the ocean background.
It is a wooden structure with a wooden path, so if you were thinking of wearing those heels this could be your place!
There are other locations of course. You can get married on the beach itself or if you have a smaller list of guests there is the option to set up the ceremony in the middle of a pool!
Even though it was a rainy April day, (which happened to be my birthday too) everything turned out perfect for Adrienne and Ryan.
A few drops weren’t going to stop them from having fun and enjoying the day with their family and friends!
Have a look at their photos and see what I am talking about!
